Ray and friends brave the shave!

First Ray wants to thank his Washburn cousins for raising money for his cancer treatment at our family reunion. Washburns rock...even you Alvin!!:)

Last week Ray's hair started falling out while he was in the hospital with an infection and fever. So my sister Chelynn brought her clippers up and we had a head shaving party with my parents and Ray's cousins right there at the hospital. Here are the brave head shavers before.

Ray getting shaved. Before Chelynn started shaving, Ray let us all come up and pull his hair out. It literally just came out in our hands and didn't hurt him at all. He had been so sad about it, but when he had his cousins there to support him he felt okay about it. Thanks guys!

Father and son...bald together. So sweet.

And here's the whole group...Ben, Elijah, Ray, Semisi, Joe, and Belle! She wanted to join the fun so she shaved her head too. She looks beautiful.

But actually the first to shave her head was Sabryna! She came to our house the week earlier and had Ray shave her head. It was so much fun.

Ray was happy to take it all off.

He also shaved Josh's head.

And here they are when it was all done! Aren't they the best cousins?!!
