....in the WASHING MACHINE!!!
That's right.
Last week I washed a dirty diaper (for the second time), and today I opened my finished load of laundry to discover that somehow a whole carton of eggs had made it's way into my washing machine!
I gasped!
I puzzled!
I screamed!
I cursed!
Yolks, a million shells, and a disintegrated carton were ALL....OVER....EVERYTHING. It was bad. Really bad. I had to vacuum out the inside of my washing machine twice. I had to re-wash the load twice. I had to dry it twice.
And still the shells and the carton fibers abound.
I have one word for this disaster: Ammon!!!
I am 100% certain it was him. He has been watching me do laundry and loves to help throw the clothes in the machine. He probably grabbed the carton of eggs from the fridge when some older kid left the door open and thought, "Hmmm...this looks like it belongs in the washing machine."
At least it didn't go in the toilet.
So instead of getting all my laundry done today, I spent most of the morning fuming over one load.
Eggs!!!!

Oh my. I was just letting Eve "help" put things into the dryer. Is a carton of eggs in my future? Honestly, I can't think of anything worse. Except maybe a dirty diaper. But you already know all about that one. So do we. Great story.
Whoa! Crazy! Yuck! Arrrgh! Someday this story will be really funny...
Oh, so funny! Well, in retrospect. Aren't these little helpers so... helpful?
