Everyone has their ideas of the Top Ten Movies of 2009. This year I realized that I have only seen 13 movies this year, which is still a lot, but in no way qualifies me to really give any opinion about what movies were best. But just for fun here are the 13 movies I obviously thought worthy enough to hire a babysitter and pay $7.50 for.

13. Easy Virtue
12. Up
11. Couples Retreat
10. Angels and Demons
9. The Proposal
8. Julie and Julia
7. Public Enemies
6. Monsters vs. Aliens
5. The Princess and the Frog
4. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
and the best movies I saw were...........
3. Star Trek (I am not much of an action movie fan, but this was incredible.)
2. The Informant (Subtle humor and Matt Damon in one of his best roles..and true!)
1. The Time Traveler's Wife (I think Rachel McAdams is so talented and beautiful and she really was the heart and soul of this movie. I never read the book so I had nothing to compare to and therefore loved the movie.)
Maybe next year I can catch the rest of 2009's movies on dvd!! Have a Happy New Year!
