This week my kids have been lucky enough to visit Santa three times!! I love how none of them even noticed how different Santa looked each time...and were sure it was always the real Santa Claus.
The first Santa was at the North Pole. Ray, Ruby, and Solomon got invited by the Make-A-Wish foundation to go on the Polar Express train and visit Santa in the North Pole (aka Solider Hollow). They bused the kids to McDonalds for lunch, then to the train, and then the North Pole where they not only saw Santa but every single child got a toy! Joe went with them and they had a long but thrilling day with the other Wish kids.
Ray asked Santa is Rudolph was real. Santa pointed to Ray's chest and asked, "What do you feel in here?" Ray said, "I think he's real." And Santa said, "Then that's right." Ray got a remote control car.

Ruby got a Fairytopia Barbie

Solomon got a hamburger making Play-doh set!

Ray on the train with the Golden Tickets.

The kids on the train. Ray is sitting by his friend Spence who we met this year in the hospital. Spence is still doing chemo and we pray for his recovery next year.

The next Santa was at the Hope Kids party. These parties are fun because the kids are basically the same kids from the Make-A-Wish, and we all know each other from being in the hospital together anyway. I feel very privileged to be part of such an amazing group of families!
Anyway, the Hope Kids threw us a party with tons of food, crafts, games, and a hilarious magician that reminded me of my friend Kevin Harris from high school. Here's Ray with Santa who is giving Ruby knuckles.

Ruby looked so beautiful and always attracts lots of attention:).

Solomon and Santa

Ammon was sure to ask Santa for his very own ZhuZhu Pet.

The last visit with Santa was Friday night at our church Christmas party. I took the braids out of Rubies hair that morning ( it took 3 hours!) so she was sporting a huge gorgeous Afro. And the cutie on the left is my sisters son E. who was spending the night.

So much fun! Perhaps too much fun. I certainly hope that Santa brings these kids what they asked for....he's had three chances to hear their requests this week. Let's hope he gets it right:).
