Today I found these pictures from a month ago that cheered me up. One morning (about 5:15 am!) I heard noises from Ruby's room which was odd because Ruby was in my bed with me. I raced up the stairs to find the two babies having an early morning tea party! It was really sweet. I am glad I grabbed my camera to capture the good times. It helps me remember that it is not all bad.
Ammon and Solomon serving up "wittle cakes".
And the next thing we new Ray and his dog Grandma Sugar had joined us as well.
I find I am not doing anything especially cool or educational with my kids lately, but we do a lot of playing, and from looking at these pictures it makes me think that sometimes that's perfectly alright.

I love the spontaneous early morning tea party! The pics are super cute.
Man, rough mornings are a bummer. They just get your day going on a bad note. Fortunately, we are in a good phase right now, so I feel like I can conquer the world! There must needs be opposition, I suppose.
Glad you were able to make lemonade out of lemons. And can't wait until June to see you!
That is perfect. Kids need to play....you don't have to do lots of structured, educational play to have great kids. Actually, if you have to much structure and make everything "educational" it overwhelms them and screws them up ( I just say that to make myself feel better :) I say "Let them play!"...and I know, it's not all bad. When it is good it is very , very good and when it is bad it is horrid. :)
That is too cute. One morning Isaiah (just turned 4) went into Abigial's room in the middle of the night and was playing with her polly pockets. Kids are SO funny.
It's so hard to be a good mom when you're tired. Just know it won't last forever, and actually you'll start to forget things like this - so it's good you took pictures. With my girls, when they got up early, I got them breakfast - like pancakes and yogurt (nothing they could choke on) and put them in their high chair in front of the t.v. and went back to sleep. Is that really bad parenting? I guess it's desperation.
So cool that you remembered to grab the camera to help remember these fun times. Your kids are beautiful!
I am finding that they grow up WAY too fast, so we need to hold on to these times, even at 5:15am!!!
So cute! Don't you wish we would wake up that happy early in the morning. I wake up grumpy when my kids wake me up to early too and they are usually all smiles. I still need your email so I can send you an invite to my blog. Email me (my full name at yahoo.com) or have your hubby send me a message on facebook.
I happen to think playing with your kids lots IS especially cool and educational.
Hope you get some Z's soon!
