My camera broke! So no good pictures this year! Here are some with Joe's camera phone. Ammon as a shepherd with cousin Ben, and Solomon as one of the wiseman. Don't you love the thumbs up?!!:)
This was a great Christmas but I really over did it with the gifts. This was the first year that more than one kid understood what was going on (Ruby and Solomon finally got it). So I really got way too many presents.
Christmas Eve day was spent doing yoga with Sheri, making fudge, rolls, and potatoes (all of which turned out perfectly!), and the party at my moms which was easy going and fun. Josh was a skinny Santa because he said he was the Biggest Loser winner!
Then we came home and opened PJ's from us and from Grandma, ornaments and books from grandparents, put the kids to bed and then worked until 1 am to get the basement and the presents ready.
Christmas morning the kids came down around 7 and the first thing Ruby said was, "I saw a Rocking Chair!!" We let them out and we took our time opening each gift and playing with them.
-Ray got Bakugans, Lego's, Scooby Doo game, a lap harp, Batman stuff, pinball.
-Ruby got her rocking chair, make-up, a phone, kitchen stuff, Tinkerbell and Barbie movies, Candy Land (which always reminds me of my friend Megan B!!)
-Solomon got his own Batman stuff, beef jerky, bath toys, trains.
-Ammon got little musical toys.
-Joe got a sweater and a car wash.
-I got an iPod, a book from Chelynn, craft blocks from Sheri, and a beautiful picture from Ray. I am really excited to get to work loading my iPod with yoga music.
After our big traditional breakfast, we let them play and then "discovered" the last present...a basement filled with gymnastic equipment. We got screams and huge smiles and they love love love it. It really is a gift to myself since I can finally send them somewhere else to play.
We chilled and played and napped during the day, played all the games and then ate our special Christmas tacos for dinner. It was a really wonderful day. One of my best Christmases in a long time. I love my kids and I'm so grateful for them.

Seriously? You gave your own daughter CANDYLAND??? Why don't you give her matches and lighter fluid while you're at it? I hope you at least gave her goggles :) LOL!! I started playing Candyland again recently. Tanner digs it. I'm (mostly) over my phobia, though I am careful to lean way back when they are drawing cards...
