Exciting news!!

Today I learned that Joe and I have been selected to be Seat Fillers at the Emmys! Yay!!!!!! I did this a few years ago and had the greatest time. It was so fun to be part of the show and "meet" so many actors. I went with my friend from college then, but this year I decided to take Joe and we are excited for the whole trip. There are a few shows that we watch that are nominated so it will be cool to see those actors there. If you watch the Emmy's be sure to look for us in those extra seats!

P.S. And for all you nay-sayers out there....cool it. The last time I went I was surprised at how many people thought I was lame for going!!! Maybe YOU wouldn't be caught dead at the Emmy's, but there IS some event out there that YOU would love to go to and would be thrilled to get a free ticket to. So even if you hate TV and think the Emmy's are stupid, try to imagine how happy you would be if you got to go to the Super Bowl, or a concert of your favorite band, or to the Republican Convention, or the New York Ballet, or Wimbledon (dad!!). Wouldn't you be excited about it?? Then try not to say how stupid we are for going to our event.

Instead try to be happy for us for getting picked from hundreds of applicants, to dress up, have free lunch and drinks, walk the red carpet, see famous people, and watch a live show that millions of others are watching from home. Yes, we are going to have a great time....so just be nice.
