Rest In Peace Finnigan

Our cute pet hamster Finnigan died last week. He broke his front teeth on his cage bars and he just never recovered. We tried everything but it was not enough. Joe held a memorial for him and played "Amazing Grace" sung by Alvin and the Chipmunks. We buried him in our backyard. He will be sorely missed. We really did love him and when I realized he was dead I totally cried.

I don't know why blogger uploads the pictures backwards but they are in the wrong order here and I don't have time to do it again.

We wrote notes to him on a little towel and placed it over his dead body in his cage until the funeral.:)

This was the morning he died. He was playing with his Sarah and Bryan's hamster "Dude" and all the children were playing with him. He died a few hours later. Poor little Finniganipig.
