Because of Ray's cancer, we are part of a wonderful group called Hope Kids . This awesome charity plans several events each month and then the Hope Kid and their families get to attend for free. It's nice because it allows us to get out as a family and do something other than sit in the hospital, and gives Ray something to look forward to other than the next chemo treatment.
They are a fantastic group and they have taken us rollerskating, to the movies, the state fair, and most recently the circus! We were only on the waitlist and then got the call Wed. night at 6:15 saying someone had cancelled (who we actually know and they had to go to the hospital:( ) and we could use their 3 tickets for the 7 pm show! Joe, Ray, and Ruby threw their T-shirts on and ran out the door in like 4 minutes! In fact they left so fast and we were all screaming and so excited that little Ammon was scared. But they had a great time and here are the few pictures Joe got of the night.
Thanks Hope Kids!!
