That's right folks. Come January 5th I will be a Metal Mouth, a BraceFace, Tinsel Teeth. They're gonna lay those tracks right into my Grill and make my chompers like the Jaws of Life. I'm gonna get me some Bling Bling on my bite and be the Dum Dum who can't chew Gum Gum. My Tin Grin is gonna shine through the year twenty ten until my pegs are no longer cranked. Straight and white and just as pretty as you please.
Now what advice can I get from all you former Fence Mouths?
P.S. For all you class of 95 AF Cavemen, my Orthodontist is none other than Mike Rosvall. He is all growed up!

oh lucky you. I had them when I was younger, but totally hate my teeth and would love to get them again!
I just got braces 3 weeks ago and they HURT at first, not so much now. I'm still waiting to see some results. Personally I was a tad bit embarrassed when I walked into the orthodontist's office to see my name on their appointment board decorated with flowers, toys and everything that screams PEDIATRICS, lol. My advice to you will be to make your appointment when at an odd time, say 10am, so you wont have to be sitting there with a bunch of children, lol.
Like you, I am looking past the metal (ceramic in my case) and pain and I have my mind focused on one thing and one thing only, a gorgeous smile.
That was hilarious!
Don't stop wearing your retainer once those braces come off. Be prepared to feel insecure sometimes. I sure did as an adult in braces. I am surprised that you need them. I have always thought your smile is beautiful.
I never thought you needed them! Be prepared for people to think you are way younger than they already think you are! :o)
Mine are going back on sometime in the next year too. I've been putting it off... but it needs to be done. Maybe we'll be Brace Faces together!
I too am surprised! Your teeth are lovely. My advice -- if you need chains, don't choose the yellow or red ones. They make your teeth look dirty or bloody :)
