This morning we got in our Sunday best and drove downtown to the Salt Lake courthouse for Ammon's Adoption Finalization hearing! His adoption took a little longer than we thought, so we are relieved and grateful to have our baby officially become "our baby!"
Here's mommy and Baby Ammie (as Ruby likes to call him)..isn't he so cute!
He is 7 months old now.
We were thankful that Uncle Ron and Uncle Paul braved the traffic and weather to come and support us. The hearing was so early and being downtown we didn't really invite anyone. But we were glad to have the support of our brothers. They also helped keep the kids quiet and entertained!
The Honorable Judge Kennedy was our judge this time and he was very cordial and commented on what a cute dress Ruby was wearing. He let us all come right up on his bench to take a picture. While Ray and Ruby were kneeling on the desk Ray asked the judge, "Do you have any treats?" Everyone laughed...but all Judge Kennedy had was a cough drop!
The kids were really good and I thought behaved well for it being early and cold and kind of boring for them. Ruby and Ray kept hugging and kissing Ammon so that looked good I'm sure to the court:). We all really love Baby Ammie and are so happy he is finally adopted.

Congrats! What a special day. You have the most beautiful family ever. I swear I wanted to keep Solmon when Joe brought him over a few weeks ago. I just wanted to squeeze him to pieces. All of the kids are so adorable. We need to come visit.
