To cut or not to cut?

So my "beautiful long hair" (Ray's words) is driving me crazy and getting stuck in everyones hands, buttons, zippers, floor, sink...you name it my hair is there! I even find hairs stuck in the babies' diapers sometimes! Plus it literally an hour and 20 minutes to wash, dry, and style from start to finish! I do not have that kind of time.

But do I dare cut it??? HELP! I need advice and opinions.

Natalie Ranson short? Connie Christensen short? Mckinley Brown short???? OR Shannan Sanchez LONG????

go, Go, GO! YOUCANDOIT! It will be so fun to have it short! I wouldn't go all the way to Sinead, but I think shoulder length would be really cute on you. You can always go shorter later!

NOoooooooooooooooo!!!!! If you must cut, just start small, like 6 inches or something! That will cut down on the washing and blowdrying time!! You have my most favoritest hair in all the world, it's so signature SHANNAN! But.... if you must, I support you :) Who am I to talk? My hair is grazing my shoulders and making me nuts and about to be cut because it takes too long to work with, LOL :)

Ooooo, Your hair is so pretty but I bet it would look super cute shoulder length. I say go for it. Can't wait to see what you have decided.

Oh man. That is HUGE!! I agree with Megan it's signature Shannan. I can feel your pain though. I had long-ish hair until I had my kids then I chopped it all off because I couldn't stand all of the hormonal shedding and finding my hair everywhere.

Go for it. You only live once.;)And post pix, of course.

Well I remember you when you did have short hair... chin-length short hair. And I remember how much I loved it. Your hair then is the closest thing to convincing me to go short. the only thing that stopped me is my profile isn't smashing like yours. You have a gorgeous profile that chin-length short hair really showed off. Then you grew your hair out and I was amazed at what gorgeous hair you have! If you can grow it that long as an adult, you can do it again. I love your long hair... it's so beautiful. If it's really an issue of how long it takes to do your hair... try some quick up styles to give you the change you're looking for. I would try something like that before chopping. But keep in mind that if you do decide to chop, it looks amazing on you... and in my opinion, chin-length was the cutest.

You are one of those people that can pull of ANY look! You would make short 'signature Shannan' soon enough. I say do whatever will keep you sane, especially as a busy mom of 4. If shorter hair makes you a better (or at least less stressed)mom, go for it. Are you one of those people that pulls hair back into a ponytail anyway because you are too busy? I totally am, which means I probably need a new style. Would you feel better with a cut you can really do? It IS gorgeous long, but you would be stunning either way. Lucky girl!

Congratz on the 4. What a beautiful family!

I think, go shoulder-length first, you can still ponytail it and can always go shorter.

I think it's a bit more "sophisticated" than long-long.

But, sweetie, you're a beauty no matter how you do it.

Have you ever had such a response - apparently hair is serious business. CUT IT! I chopped mine to my chin when we moved it grew back really fast - BUT be able to pull it back or you will ALWAYS have to style it. I want to chop mine - Michael always has to play with it for comfort and that DOES NOT WORK with curly hair. Anyone know how to make a doll from your own hair? Or is that just strange. Looking forward to the pics!

I say cut it, but not too short. You'll be cute either way, but your hair is one of your great features.

Wow! Everyone is saying such nice things about me. Thank you! I will take some time to think about it but I will definitely post pictures if I cut it. Thanks for your opinions, I have a lot to think about.
